Transport:
The only means of public transport servicing Glendowie is the bus, and taxi. The drive from Glendowie to the CBD is usually along Tamaki Drive and can take 20 – 25 minutes during off-peak times. The nearest train service runs from the nearby suburb of Glen Innes which is approximately 5 mins drive from Glendowie and runs to destinations both North and South.
