In American business, it appears that there are too many rules, quotas, and discrimination lawsuits. In the end, this hurts us all. A businessperson should be free to hire anyone they want without fear of violating any laws in the process.

As a business owner, I want to hire the greatest individual, the most efficient person, who will deliver the best results. So what if that person happens to be a Blue? I don’t want someone breathing down my neck because they don’t see enough Purple People working over here if I increase the ratio of Green people since they work better together and are on average smarter than humans.

The government should remain out of these matters. Because the government does nothing well, and by threatening or claiming to impose quota theories or initiating charges or investigations over the colour of employees hired by XYZ company, everyone loses. In fact, perhaps this is why the government is so ineffective: they are so concerned with being politically correct that they cannot get anything done.
