They say that 97% of the people who go into network marketing fail. They say that the average network marketer will only recruit 3 people in their entire career. They say that the pay check of the average network marketer is somewhere between $10 and $40. With a reputation like that it is amazing that anybody would risk signing up in a networking business when they are aware of the risks that they will face on their way to building a successful network.
Would you like to know why people do risk stepping out into an industry that is identified with a 97% failure rate? Why do they go into a network marketing business expecting uncommon success when they know that there have been so many casualties that have gone before them? For starters I believe it is because the network marketing industry has created more millionaires and it has allowed more people to gain personal freedom than any industry in the marketplace today. Many of them double and triple the paychecks that they were bringing home in their 40-hour-a-week work endeavors. They not only bring home more money than they did on their regular jobs, but they do it in half the time. Successful marketers have learned to go out and recruit a handful of people and then teach and motivate them to duplicate their efforts. In other words they learned to leverage other people’s time and efforts to create a substantial residual income.
So let’s not talk about the 97% who have failed in network marketing. Let’s talk about the 3% who are making it happen in the marketing industry. What are they doing that the 97% are not? I believe that the people who make it big in the network marketing industry are the ones who have either figured out a system to work that will create an income, or they have tapped into a marketing and lead generation system that someone else has developed and is willing to share.
In the beginning most network marketers face the same challenges. The first challenge is to find the right people to join their business. They are looking for leaders to help them build a network of successful marketers that will do big things in the industry. Money is the second challenge that the new marketer will face. They will need a cash flow to sustain them while they build a successful business. The third challenge is that most new network marketers lack the skills to create a successful business.
The true measure of someone who will eventually become one of the 3% who succeed in the network marketing industry is how they will face and overcome these challenges. They will see these challenges simply as obstacles to be overcome. The person who decides to position themselves as a leader will do their due diligence to develop a system of excellence at every level of their marketing endeavors. They will develop their skills until those skills produce results. They will learn how to apply what they know to their marketing business until it produces the abundant cash flow that it was designed to create. Finally they will silence the voice of the 97% who have failed and search for the pathway to success that has been left by the 3% who have blazed the trail to the top. In conclusion, the successful marketer will not stop until they have pushed aside every obstacle and put every system in place that will ensure their success as well as the success of those who are following them in the business.
