I went to the grocery market some time ago and as I was doing my shopping I discovered a small crowed of about 5 to 6 people huddled up near the meat section. I didn’t pay it too much attention because my mind was focused on my grocery list I still had to get the eggs, bacon, bread, turkey lunch meat and a few t-bone steaks, OH,, and some cereal so I had a lot on my mind as you can see.
But one thing I did start to notice was the smell inside the market. I couldn’t really put my finger on the smell but it actually smelled pretty good, and the closer I got to the meat section the stronger the smell. I also noticed that crowed of 5 to 6 people had turned into a crowed of 10 to 12 so now I’m curious.
I decide to approach the crowed and see whats going on and as I get closer I see two elderly women sitting at a little booth they set up. One of the women was cooking little sausage patties on some kind of portable electric frying pan I have never seen before which explained the very enticing smell in the market.
The other woman was passing out free samples of the sausage patties. Now I know you may think this is about free sausage patty samples. But actually the two elderly women had about 75 boxes of those cool little portable frying pans selling for $39.95 and I must admit I did buy one.
Now if you ask me, this was Attraction Marketing at its best like the great Mike Dillard once said people use Drills because they want to drill wholes that’s what drills do, so in order to sale drills it would be best to make an add about drilling wholes instead of an add about selling drills.
Which is exactly what these to women did people like to cook and eat so instead of these two women telling everyone in the market that they have cool little portable frying pans for sale they went to the meat section of the market to cook and give free samples of sausages that they would fry on there cool little portable frying pans which created a crowed of shoppers to stop and watch a live demonstration of what the frying pans can do which also made others as well as myself think about what we can do with the frying pan so I bought one.

Something that will draw people to you – (like the smell that was inside the market) Videos, Articles, Blogs, free classified Adds, Conference calls, Webinars These are a few great ways to draw people to you.
Something to give away for free – (like the free sausage samples) Well in Network Marketing you want to give free Valuable information regarding Business building, Marketing strategies, Resources, How To information/live Demonstrations
Call to action – After building followers & giving away free valuable info Then you can offer something that cost money.
But most important you must target the right market as you see these two ladies went to the grocery market to fry sausage on there frying pans targeting people who like to cook and eat.
