Looking For The Newer, Shinier Version of You?

Nothing stays the same. You really don’t want it to stay the same. An expression I share a lot when speaking from the stage is that “you’re either growing or dying.” Think about a flower. Once the seed is planted, it grows and grows until the flower blooms… and a bloom only lasts so long, until it starts dying. What I’m referring to when I use this expression is not about your body but your mind. If you stay in your Comfort Zone and never try new things, meet new people, have new experiences, you will slowly (or quickly) start to wither away. You’ll become static and eventually outdated. An easy way to get you to understand this think concept about technology. Remember all of the small business owners years ago who had to update into current technology by getting rid of typewriters and replacing them with computers that they had no idea how to use.
