I was reading a report the other day that stated 95% of Internet Marketers are not making any significant amounts of money online. When I sat back and thought about it, I’d have to pinpoint one of the main reasons as poor Internet Marketing Niche Research.
And just to clarify, what is significant amounts of income? I’d say significant, is at minimum, bringing in what you’re making at your current full time job.
Okay so you’re asking how do I go about doing a good to great job of IM Niche Research so I can make money online. The answer is easy and just requires you to take the appropriate amount of time to do the niche research and analyze your findings. Follow the these steps and you’ll be good to go.
1. Find a Niche
You first need to choose a niche before you can do anything. Initially pick something you’re interested in and will follow through on.
2. Research The Audience
Your next step is to see who your audience is and get a better understanding of what their needs are. Here are several things to consider:
Why is your audience buying within this niche
What are they buying
Are they buying it products within this market niche online
Once you answer these questions, you’ll be have a clearer understanding on how to satisfy your particular markets needs. Doing this get you that much closer to success.
3. Find Products To Promote
Okay we know why they buy now lets check to see if there are any related products to promote? In most cases there are numerous affiliate programs within all niches.Internet Marketing Niche Research involves finding products to promote within a niche if you plan on making money from it!
I put this in because people get into promoting a niche without checking to see if there are products to sell. Crazy as it sounds…it happens.
4. Finding Profitable Keywords
Finding profitable keywords is the next step before setting up your marketing campaign. Now that you know what makes your audience tick and the products within the industry, finding profitable keywords is actually quite easy.
First determine if your marketing is going to be through article marketing or pay per click, then organize your keywords appropriately.
5. Building Your Internet Marketing Campaigns
You’ve done quite a bit of internet marketing niche research and analyzed your data. You’ve determined a profitable niche and developed your profitable keywords. Now you can begin to implement your marketing campaign and build up your promotions both effectively and profitably.
