My husband and I decided to have a break from work and chose Sydney as our destination. Having booked our flight, our next issue was where to stay. A friend suggested the Blue Sydney, a Taj Hotel, and we were too happy that we followed his suggestion. Our holiday would not have been a splendid one if we chose to stay in another hotel.
Belonging to the group of Taj Hotels, Blue Sydney is a 5-storey building situated on the ancient Finger Wharf at Woolloomooloo and is 14 km away from the nearest airport. Blending the style and character of a boutique resort, it presents commitment, dependability, uniformity and conscientious service that are very typical of a luxury 5-star hotel. The luxurious and detailed modern contemporary designs that mixed the colors blue, brown and caramel was a welcome treat for both of us letting us to have an exhilarating hotel experience.
Providing guests with an up-to-date opulent accommodation is the100 guest rooms that include 36 impressive loft rooms. Bathrooms are roomy and beautiful complete with all the amenities that you need. Health and environmentally-conscious, smoking is not allowed in any of the rooms. Your valuables can be kept in their safety deposit box.
Our friend suggested that we take the Deluxe Pier View King room to have a view of the water. It measures 46 sqm with a king size bed and a separate bath and shower. The room offers a good view of Garden Island Naval Base and Potts Point District. This room can actually accommodate 3 persons.
We were so impressed with Blue’s interior and architectural design and requested if we can have a look on one of the loft rooms. We were granted with our request and were once again filled with surprise with what we saw. Split-level, its dimension is 58 sqm and can accommodate a family or a group of three. The upper level has a king-size bed while the lower level, which is the work area, has a sofa bed. It likewise gives a nice view of the Potts Point District, Garden Island Naval Base and bay view through its traditional windows and fenestra. Both levels are provided with wardrobes. The bath and shower is located on the upper level while the lower level has a toilet and sink.
Blue Sydney is very accessible so you will not find a hard time looking for a cab. Assisting you in any problems and queries is the reception and room service that is open 24/7. Porter service is likewise always at hand.
You can tone up your muscles in their gymnasium or enjoy a dip in their indoor pool. Calm your senses and get relaxed in the services provided by their spa chakra facility. Their charming bar is somewhat quiet but it offers you a cozier area to chat and have a quick sip of your favorite wine or drinks before going to sleep or prior to heading for a night out.
