What qualities make up a successful Affiliate Marketing Coach?
Before I get into what makes up a successful one, lets talk about what qualities NOT to look for when looking for the right one. They are:
– The coach wants to charge you a bunch of money up front for their services
– The coach makes you pay for your own tools when doing research, competitive analysis or building websites
– The coach takes more than one day to respond to any questions you have when you get stuck
– The coach cares less about you succeeding longterm, and more about how to earn money from you
After looking at these qualities to avoid, you begin to realize that it becomes hard to find the right type of Affiliate Marketing Coach(s) online. When everyone wants to sell you something left and right, where are you going to turn?
Personally, I spent a lot of time online trying to go through different courses and programs only to be let down. Sure I learned a bit here and there, but the problem was that these types of coaching programs offered me “quick hit” info, things that would teach me a new trick or two, but nothing that really helped me to progress, especially when I started to get stuck.
After asking around online and visiting many forums talking to people about what to look for, I began to get a general idea of what services a good affiliate marketing coach should provide you with. They are:
– Real, Personal on going 1-on-1 Support
– A large, up to date library of training guides, resources, and videos
– A large variety of quality tools to get the job done quickly and efficiently
– A helpful, active community to take part in HOT marketing discussions and improve your knowledge
After spending time learning about the right qualities in an affiliate marketing coach, I was recommended a coaching program/university called Wealthy Affiliate. Luckily, they gave me a huge, up to date library of information on everything affiliate marketing related, including: Article Marketing, Researching Niches and Keywords, PPC, SEO, Quick Blog/Website Building, etc. Not to mention the huge community and personal coaching from the owners, Kyle & Carson.
So in short, all the qualities that I learned were important in the right affiliate marketing coach turned out to be spot on. These are the types of qualities that will give you the confidence to get started, keep going when you feel stuck or lost because of the constant support, and keep improving your knowledge so that you keep having success at higher and higher levels.
So remember, don’t spend your money and time on people that aren’t generally interested in helping you. You need only to find the right type of support from the right coach, and you will be well on your way to success.
