Do you have an online business? If so, do you understand the benefits of starting your own online business? No matter what your answers are, you should know that there are a ton of benefits to marketing your business on the internet. This is unlike any other form of marketing out there.

With traditional offline marketing, the costs of advertising are extraordinary. You have to deal with the rising costs of direct mail, you have to test and track your newspaper ads, you have to do your homework when it comes to advertising in magazines, you have to wait 3 months for some publications to re-run an ad or to replace an ad that isn’t working, and etc. But with an online business, most of these things are a non-factor.

The fact is that an online business has a lot of perks. And in today’s lesson, I want to share with you some of those perks so that you can make a good and wise decision as to whether or not you should start an offline business, or an online business (truthfully, I think you should start an online business). Anyway, here’s the first perk:

1) Very little cost to start marketing

You can spend a lot less money on marketing on the internet as opposed to marketing in the offline world. You could advertise on a very high traffic website for only around $100, and get a ton of hits to your website – with many of these targeted people buying from you on the first day.

This is something that should make you excited. I know when I first started out, I was selling this $300 product and was only promoting it via pay per click advertising. It wasn’t until I dropped the priced to $50 and make it available via an instant download that I started to get sales with it.

No matter what you’re selling, you should know that you don’t have to spend a lot to get a lot. In fact, you can do free marketing and achieve incredible results just off of this marketing tactic alone. Let’s take a look at another benefit that you have at your disposal when it comes to internet marketing.

2) You can get customers fast

You don’t have to be a brain surgeon to get customers fast on the internet. If you invest in a lot of advertising, I’m almost 100% confident that you can get sales the next day. This is what happened to me.

I was selling this book on “lowering cholesterol” for $25, and I invested $50 in pay per click advertising. And I set my cost per click at 20 cents per click. I got a ton of traffic, and the next day, I woke up with 2 sales in my email inbox. Now I immediately put them into my backend marketing funnel so that I could recoup my loss, but I hope you’re just seeing the point at how fast you can get customers.

If you’re trying to sell a $30 book offline, try promoting the book online and see how it does. I’m willing to bet that you’d get sales almost immediately if you invest in advertising and implement a lot of free marketing techniques.

These 2 benefits of internet marketing are things that you should implement in your business today. They aren’t hard to do – all you have to do is stick with them and continue to persist as your advertising efforts are making you money.

Take these tips and use them to boost your online business profits today.

Good luck with marketing your business on the internet.
