Doing niche research for affiliate marketing? We are going to take it a step further by going to the place where digital information products are sold – Clickbank. Since we’re selling information products, we’d want to know the answers to these questions:
1. Which products are selling well recently in the market?
2. What is their marketing funnel like?
Knowing the answers to these two questions is vital. As mentioned before, you don’t want to reinvent the wheel. You’d want to take what’s working and improve it, so you can create your own successful marketing strategy.
Go to Clickbank’s Marketplace section, look for your general niche topic that your business comes under, and look out for the best products by ranking.
Do your research by using these questions as a guideline:
1. What is their Gravity rating? (The higher it is, it means more affiliates are promoting for them)
2. What percentage of affiliate commissions are they giving?
3. What is the % referred? (This refers to the percentage of sales that comes from affiliates)
Also, study their sales pages and see how they take customers through the sales process. If their products are near the top of the category, it means their sales pages convert. See if you can take a little of their style and use it on your own sales page. I’m not asking you to plagiarize their content; take a look at their style and see if you can incorporate some elements of it on to your sales page. This is a proven formula that works!
