Email marketing is an excellent model to follow when it comes to earning money in your online business. It’s predictable, easy, and very seamless. Plus, you can put the whole thing on autopilot if you wanted to. All you would need is a good autoresponder, and you can get that easily online. Just do a Google search on “autoresponders” and a ton will come up for you.

Email marketing is important because it can help to boost your conversion rates. If you’re currently leading people to your sales page but aren’t getting any sales, consider redirecting them to your squeeze page, and get their email address. Then you can follow up on these people on a regular basis, thereby increasing the chances of you converting your leads into customers.

When doing email marketing, it’s important that you remain in a profit zone. It’s nice to get subscribers via advertising, but when your funds are all dried up, how will you get more traffic and how will you be able to convert the leads gathered from advertising into customers?

This is a very important question. This is why I’m a big fan of doing my internet marketing for free. I get leads from all over the place – because I’m very active in what I’m doing. You can do the same thing too, but it will take a while. I’ve been involved with internet marketing for the past 10 years, so I have learned how to be patient with my results, and take what the marketplace gives me.

Sometimes you really do have to take lemons and turn them into lemonade if you want to make lots of money in your business. So by building a list, you can improve the chances of you getting sales like clockwork, and will receive a lot of new customers to market to on the backend also.

One thing that you never want to do is contact your list too much. I recommend sending out your emails every 3 to 4 days. If you email them everyday, they will grow tired of seeing you in their inboxes, and will unsubscribe from your list. Now with that being said, some marketers online just don’t think that 1 email per day is enough.

There are online business owners who send out 2 emails per day – everyday. This is ridiculous in my opinion. By the fourth email I’d probably unsubscribe. I hate it when people try to market to me all the time like that – and I’m willing to bet that you feel the same way too.

I would at least test sending out emails every 3 to 4 days to your leads and customers. You might just see an increase of sales because of these people “missing you” in their email inbox. 3 to 4 days is just about the right time to get people to want to see a new message from you, that has great information in it.
