How does affiliate marketing work: Affiliate marketing is basically a partnership between a seller and a promoter (you). Where you as a promoter or “affiliate marketer” promotes the seller`s product, and for each sale you generate you receive a commission for X %.
An affiliate marketer joins either an affiliate network, like ClickBank or Commission Junkie or an independent affiliate program (found on the sellers website) to start promoting a product. Most of these networks and programs are free to join. When you have joined an affiliate program you will be given a unique affiliate link, so that each time someone uses that exact link to visit the sellers website they get a tracking cookie on their computer, which shows where they came from, and you can be awarded for the sale!

Article marketing: Writing articles which talks about a product or provide a solution to a problem, And get the article readers to click on a link that directs them to your website. The key to success in article marketing is consistent writing, if you are just starting out, you should not aim for a “perfect article” as this is something that WILL be learned with consistent writing, Quantity makes Quality in article writing.
SEO: Search Engine Optimization is the practice of getting a website ranked high in a search engine like Google or Yahoo. This is done trough optimizing of the content within the website, Optimizing the structure of the website with Internal linking and good meta tags and permalinks. Another crucial factor in SEO is backlinks, a backlink is an incoming link from another page to yours. Google and the other search engines see it this way: if a website has many links it means people like it and share it with each other, therefore they rank them higher in the result pages, Building backlinks can be done by social bookmarking, writing articles, and writing on forum/blogs where you leave a link to your website there.
Pay Per Click: is just as it sounds, you pay money for each click on an ad that links to your website. Pay per click is provided by almost all search engines, the biggest and most used pay-per-click programs are: Google AdWords, Yahoo Advertiser, and MSN Adcenter(Bing). although Pay Per Click can be very lucrative, it is NOT for beginners, as it is a huge risk if you don’t know exactly what you are doing.
