If you’ve looked at generating your own Internet website traffic, then you’re, no doubt, always looking for improvements. You want to maximise your resources: both time and money. You want to get great links and have them stay getting you ranked for years to come. You want to find new ways to use your own content to drive traffic to your websites. That being the case, you might well be already using article marketing. But, what about video marketing?
The advantages of using video marketing to get Internet website traffic:
Assuming you already do article marketing (which you should do), I’d like to point out how adding video marketing will more than double your traffic. You could use video as your main traffic method. But, I think its more efficient to do both. Why? Well, making your own videos is the number one way to re-purpose your articles.
Generally speaking, a video will have less content. There are two reasons for that:
1. The main video sharing site – YouTube – is geared up for videos of 10 minutes or less. In fact, even if you used a complete article to make a 10 minute video, you’d be better to make it into 2 or 3!
2. Google cannot completely read a video. They are learning how to, and seem to be able to ‘listen’ at the moment. So, the content is not so important. I am not saying video content is not important, it is. But, it is so more for getting clicks than getting ranked. That’s an advantage over article marketing.
Video is red-hot. Video is here and many are making the most of it! However, there is a perception that its hard to make videos, so its not as popular as using articles to drive traffic. So, there’s another advantage.
Let’s say you are spending two hours a day on your article marketing. You are going to do really well with that kind of commitment. But, what if you were to half that and make the spare hour over to video marketing. You would get even more traffic from that. A lot more…
