Is there such a thing as a Network Marketing Secret to success? For years I have listened to my Upline and have done everything I was told to achieve Network Marketing Success.
I went to all the meetings, made my prospect list, talked to all my friends and relatives. I even went to stores in the shopping mall to do cold contacting. Talk about painful. I’d rather have a root canal.
I did my three way phone calls, did follow up calls, sent out informational material. I have been chasing my dream for years in many different so called opportunities. You’d think I would have learned my lesson?
I began to think there must be a Network Marketing Secret to beiing successful in MLM. The key question for me was, “What is it?” What is the Network Marketing Secret? I figured there must be one. After all, my lack of success certainly was not because I was not doing everything I was told to do by my Upline.
The only thing I could conclude was there must be a secret I didn’t know. My quest was to find this secret. I refused to accept failure as my only remaining option. 97% of those in MLM don’t make it. I was not going to be one of those statistics.
So what’s the secret? It certainly wasn’t that I was not willing to spend more money than I could afford in building Network Marketing Success. With all the trips to conventions, buying motivational books and videos, paying for monthly products I did not need and sometimes did not want, I did not have a clue as to the reason I was not able to be one of the Network Marketing Success stories.
After years of searching with one failure after another, I gave up on my dream. I concluded my friends and relatives were right. Network Marketing Success is rare and is only reserved for the few who have the persistence to build their business on the backs of their Downline.
I didn’t want to believe this to be true, but what other conclusion could I draw? I did everything I was told only to have failure as my prize.
Then one day it hit me. I was not the problem. The problem was with the information I was getting from my Upline. They were doing the same things they were telling me to do and they were getting the same results I was getting. They had no idea how to be a Network Marketing Success. Everyone was perpetuating a lie and we were all buying it, both figuratively and literally.
Yes, there absolutely is a Network Marketing Secret to success. The Network Marketing Secret is YOU. Stop following your Upline. Stop chasing after prospects, buying leads, paying for ads, going to meetings. Stop doing whatever you are doing that is not working.
If what you are doing is not making you money, stop doing it. The only thing that makes you money is processing orders and putting distributors in your Downline. Everything else is costing you.
So how do you build a business if you don’t go after prospects and get leads? You have your prospects come to you. Did you get that? HAVE YOUR PROSPECTS COME TO YOU!
Your greatest asset is right in front of you, your computer. Now don’t start breaking into a cold sweat hearing that. You can build your business online without having any more computer skills than you have right now reading this article.
You see, anyone can walk on water if they know where the rocks are. Once you know where they are it no longer is a secret. You can walk on water too. Yes, you can have your own Network Marketing Success and that’s definitely no Network Marketing Secret.
You do not have to join a different business or market a different product. You can have success in the company you are in promoting the products or services you have right now. The key to your success is not about the opportunity or comp plan. The key is YOU and getting your prospects to chase you instead of you chasing them. Big Difference!
