I am often asked what the best network marketing strategy is to build a business in today’s market. The answer is there really isn’t a best answer. There are primarily three strategies that are used to build a network marketing business today.

There is the offline model, the online model, and the hybrid model. Now, to which network marketing strategy is best for you is completely dependent on your likes, strengths, dislikes, and weaknesses.

Let’s take a look at all 3.

The offline network marketing strategy has been around for decades. It most likely is the same marketing model that you are being taught if you are in a traditional network marketing company. Make a list of 200 names and numbers. Call each one and somehow get them in front of the information about your opportunity. Usually, this involves hotel meetings, home meetings, luncheons, 3 foot rule, 3 way phone calls and a lot of belly to belly networking. This is a proven method for some people, if this style resonates with you, then this may be your best choice.

The online network marketing strategy has been around for a few years. Its foundation is in attraction marketing. Basically, whenever you market online, you simply share and discuss information about yourself and what you have learned. Using what you have learned about marketing, you share it with others to allow those that like you to join you and those that doubt to fall off your list. This method requires you to create landing pages, blogs, have social media accounts, then learn how to drive traffic to those sites. Once that traffic is there, the next thing that you focus on his turning that traffic into a lead. Once you have a lead on your list, you communicate through email to share value. Value can be anything from personal development, to hot marketing tips. Something that will benefit them to know. Those that like what you share will stay on your list and those that don’t, won’t. Eventually through this power of the list, you will recommend products to earn commissions and also mentor some of them onto your team.

The hybrid network marketing strategy is all about combining the offline and the online models together. This is where you maybe create a blog, landing page, or promote a system. You drive traffic online to that system, but in addition to that you also market offline. Not so much in the sense as described above, but instead your offline marketing efforts drives traffic to your online network marketing strategy through items like drop cards, post cards, associations or clubs where you can network your marketing skills. Print ads in newspapers and magazines.

Choosing a network marketing strategy is where all of the power is at. It completely depends on what type of person that you are and works with your natural talents. Anyone of these models can be taught, the mechanics are easy. The key is to choose one that really resonates with you. This way you can form a mastermind team for help, but more importantly, since its what resonates with you, then its a strategy that you will perform on a consistent, focused basis. That is what counts the most.
