Niche marketing if done correctly is a good business line to pursue on the Internet. Niche marketing or affiliate marketing lets you choose your time of work. You can earn a lot of money if you can carry out adequate research and find converting niches and traffic pulling keywords.
This calls for a lot of hard work and focus. Lack of both is why most people are not successful with affiliate marketing. It is not an easy task to find profitable niches – a lot of effort must be employed. The process is time consuming. Some people will tell you that they have invested days in researching profitable niches to no avail.
However, there are software and merchant sites out there that you can use to speed up the process. But problem is that there are lots of keyword research software programs out there that claim to make finding profitable niches and traffic pulling keywords very easy. Majority of these programs do not live up to their claims.
However, niche marketing has been made a lot easier by sites like ClickBank. It has a market place where you can find different vendors’ of digital products. I use ClickBank to take the guess work out of finding profitable niches to market.
At ClickBank sign-up is free. Log in to your account and access the market place. Look for products to promote through products categories on the left margin or type in the keyword of the product you are looking for in the search box on top of the page and access the first ten products in that category.
Look for products that pay high commission. Between 25 and 75 percent. Check also for gravity. If it is 150 and above it means that the product is being sold by other affiliates – the sales page is converting visitors to buyers. Drive traffic to your squeeze page and make affiliate c omissions
