Getting your email recipients to forward your email can be a very lucrative way to build your business; as long as you do not use bribes or coercion as tools of the trade. A good example of this is any information that helps people protect themselves, their family, property, or money. They will read this information and quickly pass it on to others they care about.

Sending Out Jokes and Cartoons Could Do the Trick.

I once got an email from a colleague which was an audio link of a radio disc jockey who was proving to some guy’s wife that the husband was cheating on her. Imagine what happened when the husband found out his actions were exposed on public radio. Admittedly, this was a bit seedy, but I know that link got passed around the Internet a lot.
